All these pieces of work were sold on Instagram over the weekend of the 14 Nov 2020.
They have each been handmade by me in my workshop in the Derbyshire Peak District.
Each piece is hand cut from coloured glass, before being painted using traditional painting techniques. The paint has to be fired in a kiln to 1250 degrees f often multiple times to add depth and texture.
The stained glass is put together using lead and soldered into place. Putty is brushed between the gaps, and finally I give each one a thorough clean and polish!
For a Celebration of Glass event, the CGS Northern Hub, put together a glass fair and exhibition with workshops and demos at this beautiful venue in 2015. These panels were hung in the old victorian changing rooms.
For this exhibition at Rural Arts in North yorkshire, I made free standing glass layered pieces that were hand painted with coloured enamels
